- Optimizing the Treatment of Complicated Grief
Are you grieving the loss of a loved one?
Are you feeling stuck in your grief?
Has it been more than 6 months since the loss?
Is grief currently your most important problem?
If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, you may be eligible for a research study. The Center for Anxiety and Traumatic Stress Disorders Program at Massachusetts General Hospital is conducting research studying the effectiveness of antidepressant medication alone or in combination with a targeted 16 session psychotherapy for the treatment of Complicated Grief. Participants will receive study medication alone or in combination with therapy. The study will last between 16 and 20 weeks.
