- Omega-3 Fatty Acids (Lovaza) for Second Generation Antipsychotic-Associated Hypertriglyceridemia
Are you taking an atypical antipsychotic?
If you are:
- age 18-75
- taking one of these medications:
o clozapine (Clozaril)
o olanzapine (Zyprexa)
o risperidone (Risperdal)
o aripiprazole (Abilify)
o ziprasidone (Geodon)
o quetiapine (Seroquel)
o paliperidone (Invega)
You may be eligible for a research study screening for high triglycerides and cholesterol at no cost.
Individuals with high triglyceride or cholesterol levels may be able to participate in a 16-week study using omega-3 fatty acids.
Compensation up to $200.
