- ARTISAN: ICAST (TM) RX De Novo Stent Placement for the Treatment of Atherosclerotic Renal Artery Stenosis in Patients With Resistant Hypertension
Are you an adult that has been diagnosed with resistant hypertension and atherosclerotic renal artery stenosis.
Doctors at Massachusetts General Hospital are participating in a research study to find out how well the iCAST (TM) RX stent works in patients diagnosed with a narrowing in the kidney artery and whether or not increased blood flow by the stent will help to control blood pressure.
Subjects enrolled in this study will be followed for a period of 3 years.
