• An fMRI study of expectancy on acupuncture treatment outcomes in knee OA
Volunteers with osteoarthritis of the right knee aged 40 to 65 needed for a research study of the effects of acupuncture on osteoarthritis knee pain, and brain activity in response to pain stimuli as measured by functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (fMRI). Study will be conducted on three separate days not requiring an overnight stay in the hospital. Compensation will be up to $185.
