- Memory Consolidation in Obstructive Sleep Apnea
Volunteers Needed
Researchers at Brigham & Women’s Hospital seek men and women with a
recent diagnosis of sleep apnea ages 18-80 for a study investigating the
effects of sleep apnea treatment on memory and learning.
To participate you must:
-- be in generally good health
-- have no history of head injury
-- not use medications known to affect sleep
-- have a recent diagnosis of sleep apnea, but not have started treatment with CPAP yet
Studying sleep is an important part of the study. This study involves up to 2
overnight stays for sleep recording and computerized testing. No drugs
involved. Payment for the study will be up to $625. Parking will be
reimbursed.
