Peanut Oral Immunotherapy
The Food Allergy Center of MGH is conducting a research study examining the effectiveness of an investigational medication called Viaskin® Peanut in the treatment of peanut allergy.

Subjects needed:
Individuals between the ages 6-55 years who have been diagnosed with a peanut allergy by a positive skin prick test and positive blood test for peanut and a well-documented medical history of systemic reactions after ingestion of peanut. Individuals must also be currently following a strict peanut-free diet. The study requires 12 visits to Massachusetts General Hospital. During these visits you/your child would undergo physical exams, blood tests, skin prick tests, Viaskin® Peanut patch administration, and food challenges. The medicine patch will be worn each day as a potential treatment for peanut allergy. The research study will last up to 12 months. Parking expenses will be reimbursed and your time will be compensated.
