• Women with Epilepsy: Pregnancy Outcomes and Deliveries
Are You a Woman Who is Considering Pregnancy?

We are looking for volunteers to participate in a research study in women who are planning a pregnancy. You maybe eligible if you meet the following criteria for one of the groups below:

Women with Epilepsy should:
- be between 18-40 years old
- have a diagnosis of epilepsy
- be planning to get pregnant
- not currently using any form of birth control or are planning to stop birth control in the near future

Healthy Women should:
- be between 18-40 years old
- be in good general health
- be planning to get pregnant
- not currently using any form of birth control or are planning to stop birth control in the near future

This research will be conducted at the Brigham and Women's Hospital and the Fish Center for Women's Health. Your participation will last the duration of your pregnancy and involves interviews, brief physical and neurological exams, blood draws, and completion of self-report diaries. There is no cost to you and you will be compensated for your time.
