- A Pilot Clinical Trial Investigating the Effect of Cutaneous Cooling on Sebum Production
DO YOU HAVE OILY SKIN? ARE YOU A MAN BETWEEN 18 AND 25 YEARS OLD?
You may qualify for a RESEARCH STUDY at Massachusetts General Hospital evaluating the effect of localized skin cooling on oil production. You may qualify for this research study if:
. You are a healthy male 18-25 years of age
. You have fair skin
. You have measurable oil production on your back
. You are not taking medications to treat acne
. You are able to attend 6 study visits over 2 months
Study visits include photos, painless measure of oil production, and one treatment session with a cooling device on two small test areas on your upper back. Qualified individuals may also volunteer for skin biopsies.
Up to $900 in compensation for time and travel (parking sticker will also be provided).
