- Normobaric Oxygen (NBO) Therapy in Acute Migraine
DO YOU SUFFER FROM AT LEAST 1 MIGRAINE ATTACK PER MONTH?
You may be eligible to participate in a pilot study investigating oxygen inhalation as an acute migraine therapy. If eligible, study investigators will deliver four small gas cylinders containing either room air or oxygen to your home, for self-administration during a migraine attack. Study participation will end when a total of 4 migraine attacks have been treated with gas therapy.
Main Inclusion Criteria:
Adults with frequent migraine (at least 1 attack per month)
Main Exclusion Criteria:
Secondary (non-migraine) headache disorder
Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)
Pregnant
