- Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation and Chronic Neuropathic Pain and Itch
Do you suffer from post-herpetic neuralgia (PHN)? Join a study to assess the effects of transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) on pain and/or itch after shingles. We seek adults with post-herpetic pain or itch for a research study involving transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), a type of non-invasive brain stimulation. This study involves multiple visits to the Mass General Hospital during which you will receive TMS at no cost. Free parking at MGH is offered. For more information, please contact one of our study staff of The Nerve Injury Unit at 617-726-7632 or email us at NerveUnit@partners.org.
