• Effect of oral contraceptives on the community structure of intestinal microbiota, mucosal inflammation, and endogenous sex steroid hormones in Crohn's Disease patients and healthy controls
The Gastrointestinal Unit at Massachusetts General Hospital is seeking healthy volunteers for a research study to evaluate the effects of oral contraceptives on progression of Crohn’s Disease.

To qualify you must:

1. be a female between the ages of 18-40 years
2. planning to start birth control pills

Study involves:

1. 3 study visits for blood draw
2. Stool collection
3. Brief diet and lifestyle questionnaire for each stool collection

Compensation:

1. Up to $75 compensation upon completion of the study
2. Up to 4hrs free parking during study visits
