- The Utility of Threat Detection in Generalized Social Anxiety Disorder
Do you fear being embarrassed or evaluated negatively by others in situations such as:
Meeting new people?
Talking in front of a group?
Going to parties?
Eating or writing in front of others?
If you are between the ages of 18 and 65 and not currently taking any psychiatric medication, you may be eligible for a research study at Massachusetts General Hospital investigating how social anxiety impacts visual perception.
This study involves having a formal psychiatric interview, completing thirteen computer tasks, and completing questionnaires over the course of two 4-hour visits.
Compensation is available for eligible participants. All inquiries are kept confidential.
