• INVESTIGATION OF BONE MICROARCHITECTURE IN PATIENTS WITH ACROMEGALY OR ADULT ONSET GROWTH HORMONE DEFICIENCY
Purpose: The purpose of this research study is to examine calcium content of your bones (bone density) and the structure of your bones (bone microarchitecture).

You might qualify to participate if you are:
•Healthy adult male between the ages of 40-55
•Not on a medication used to treat osteoporosis (can be on calcium and vitamin D)

What will happen:
•One study visit at Massachusetts General Hospital
•Have fasting blood drawn, have a bone density test, and have a CT scan of your arm and leg, and you may have a CT scan of your lower back.

Reimbursement:
•$100.00 for study participation and $20.00 for parking
