• Alteration in lower extremity golf-swing kinetics and kinematics among persons with severe knee or hip degenerative joint disease or lower extremity joint replacement
Sports performance study investigating golfers with degenerative joint disease, total knee and hip replacements and healthy golfers.

Are you a right handed golfer?

Mass General Orthopaedics Sports Performance Center is analyzing the biomechanics of golfers with normal knees/hips, degenerative knees/hips or knee/hip replacements using 3D motion analysis. We use advanced motion capture technology and high-speed video production to accurately assess and analyze golfing biomechanics.

If you are between the ages of 30-80, a right handed golfer, and have golfed at least 2 rounds per year for the past 5 years you may qualify for this study.

Your participation requires 1-5 visits lasting ~1-2 hours each at the Sports Performance Center located in the Brigham and Women's/Mass General Health Care Center, next to Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, MA.

If you are interested in participating or would like more information, please call us at 508-718-4800 or email Hollie Kirwan hkirwan@partners.org or Doug Perron dperron@partners.org
