• A pilot study of Multimodal Outcome CHAracterization (MOCHA) in comatose cardiac arrest patients

The Massachusetts General Hospital is looking for healthy subjects to participate in a research study to assess the utility of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and Electroencephalograms (EEG) in understanding brain recovery after coma due to cardiac arrest.

In order to participate, you must:
Be at least 18 years old
Have no previous history of cognitive disorder (not an in-patient or out-patient treated for a neurologic disease)
Be able to speak and read English fluently
Be able to have an MRI brain scan and EEG

Time Commitment:
Two 3-hour visits scheduled 3 months apart
Two 1 1/2 hour visit scheduled 1-week and 2-weeks after the first visit

$150 upon completion of 3 month visit
Parking for each visit
