Biomechanics of Minimalist Runners

Are you a runner who has been running in minimalist shoes (5 toed) for 6 months or longer?

If so you may be eligible to participate in our research study at the Mass General Orthopaedics Sports Performance Center.

The study investigates the biomechanics of minimalist runners with and without prior injury and involves motion analysis of running in minimalist 5 toed shoes. We use advanced motion capture technology and high-speed video production to accurately assess and analyze your biomechanics.

Your participation requires one visit lasting ~1-2 hours at the Center located in the Brigham and Women's/Mass General Health Care Center, next to Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, MA You must:
• Be 21-65 years old
• Run more than 20km a week in minimalist footwear
• Be free from injury for the last 6 months
