• Alteration in lower extremity golf-swing kinetics and kinematics among persons with severe knee degenerative joint disease and after total knee arthroplasty
Are you a right handed golfer?

Mass General Orthopaedics Sports Performance Center is analyzing the biomechanics of golfers with normal knees, degenerative knees or knee replacements using 3D motion analysis. We use advanced motion capture technology and high-speed video production to accurately assess and analyze golfing biomechanics.

If you are between the ages of 55-80, a right handed golfer, and have golfed at least 2 rounds per year for the past 5 years you may qualify for this study.

Your participation requires 1-5 visits lasting ~1-2 hours each at the Sports Performance Center located in the Brigham and Women's/Mass General Health Care Center, next to Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, MA.

If you are interested in participating or would like more information, please call us at 508-718-4800 or email Todd Walker at jwalker23@partners.org
