8 and 10-year-old CHILDREN are needed for a research study on Learning & Development
This project is not recruiting.
Overview
What we are studying
Participants are needed for a research project about developmental changes and individual differences in the ability to learn from external feedback. This is a longitudinal study that follows children over a period of 3 consecutive years. The study involves one lab visit per year for three years. Our lab is located in the Navy Yard in Boston. A day after the lab visit, children will complete a short follow up task on a home computer or on a mobile device. The study involves the recording of EEG from the scalp, using a 32 electrode net that is applied on the head (no special preparation is needed), and the completion of several tasks and tests while EEG is recorded.
Why it is important
This research study will help us understend typical development of learning Our goal is to use the results to improve understanding of impaired learning in children with developmental language disorders
